Fossa earthquake …
The Italian mountain village was destroyed by an earthquake in 2009, the inhabitants was evacuated and the village was fenced off.
The only people allowed in are the construction workers that are stabilizing the damaged buildings, but I took a chance and went there to see if I could get s few interesting pics.
And for some reason the construction workers allowed me to go in and explore the village on my own – and even told me about the unlocked door on the backside of the church !!!
It was a strange experience to see the damaged private homes with their personal belongings, but I’m grateful to be allowed to explore the Fossa village 👍

One of the few countries in Europe I haven’t visited yet. (Only one left now is Moldova)
It was rather foggy this morning, så the view from the top of the city was not existing – but still a nice place to visit.
Crossing the Rubicon river …
