The source of the Elbe river …
We made it 👍🏁🏆
This is the source of the Elbe/Labe river in the Czech mountains, a few hundred meters from the Polish border, and 1380 meters above sea level.
The tiled flags on the low wall is showing the German and Czech stated we oassed through on our journey 🌎
New means of transport …
The last few kilometers in the mountains to the source of the Elbe/Labe river, is only accesable by bus and then 2 kilometers of walking, so we had to leave the bikes for a while.

The river is getting smaller …
We continue our quest towards the source of the Elbe/Labe river, and are crossing the river many times today too.
Hradec Kralove main square …
Our hotel is on the main square, right next to the church. Impossible to find a more central location 👍
