Starting the trip to Italy …

In Würzburg (Southern Germany), my bike refused to start, and the only information in the dashboard is “General Failure” 🙁
That is not very helpful information, and there was no way to solve the problem on a saturday night.
A friendly local biker let us park the bike in his yard, and we checked in at a nearby hotel and had a few beers.
Sunday morning a tow truck took the bike to a local KTM garage, and we left a note in the mailbox asking the staff if they could prioritize my bike Monday morning.
Not what we planned, but we had a good day in downtown Würzburg.
Takes a little getting used to.
We was at the dealer at 08.00 and they har read our note and was ready to diagnose the bike.
The problem turned out to be a faulty starter relay, and they had a used relay in stock !!!
So at 09.30 we was ready to continue towards Italy 🙂
Great service from KTM in Würzburg !!!
You buy the sticker to pay the toll for 10 days riding on the Austrian Autobahns – business as usual.
Never seen one before 🙂
Fernpass is not the most spectacular of passes, but we lost some time getting the bile fixed, so we are taking the shortest route to Canazei.
