WW2 ammunition factory …
35 square kilometer compound hidden in a Polish forrest.
Not officially allowed to ride your bike in there, but neither the locals or the platoon from the Polish army I met complained 🙂
The official name of the old german factory is “Kombinat DAG Alfred Nobel Krzystkowice” and it is worth a visit if you are in the area.
Road block …

Szczecin, Poland …
Szczecin was knocked completely flat during WW2, so it is not a beautiful old city by any standard.
But I have good friends here and we had a great evening at our favorite restaurant.
Rostock port …
Waiting for the ferry.
This means that I’m almost home after 2 weeks on the road.
7000 kms, 13 countries, loads of sights, challenging roads, and the nicest people you could wish for.
