Abandoned in 1989 and everything of value have been removed/reused/sold by the locals.
This sign is common in the area around Borne Sulinowo, and our guess is that it means:
We are not sure that all Russian mines have been cleared from the forrest, so we suggest you stay on the path..”
This part of Poland was German territory before WW2 and there are hundreds of bunkers like this one in the area.
It seems like the Germans wanted to protect themselves from a Polish invasion !!!!
