The friendly driver/mechanic spoke nothing but French, but my Insurance company was able to talk to him on the phone.
He called a few BMW shops in the area, but the quoted repair time was one month !!!
So the bike is being transported to Denmark to be fixed !
Plenty of time to enjoy the landscape, but I’d prefer riding my own bike !
No connection to Formula 1 motorsport, but a French Hotel chain. Very basic and cheap, but conveniently located on the outskirts of big cities.
Basic and cheap too.
