You are allowed to ride/drive on the beach, but the switch between hard and soft sand is instant and dangerous, so caution is necessary – even with knobby tires.
Just north of Skagen town is as far north as you can ride your motorcycle in Denmark.
From the top of one of the WW2 bunkers, I could see the northern tip where two oceans meet. (Walking out there takes 30 minutes each way, and it was too time consuming and hot for that)

Eating fish on the harbor is almost mandatory when you visit Skagen.
The head of the Danish Kawasaki import told me to drop in if I was in the area, but unfortunately, he was not home today …
Also called “Denmarks Birth Certificate” is one of our most important historical monuments.
I asked if I could park my motorcycle next to the rune stones and take a few pics – and much to my surprise, the church authorities accepted my request 👊
The old masts for the high voltage grid was designed by a famous Danish designer (Poul Henningsen), and a few of them are now laid out as art sculptures near the highway.
I have seen them many times when I passed them on the highway and wondered if I could get close to them.
And I guess the picture says it all 😉

The “Ellert” was a battery driven vehicle-ish thing from the 1980’ies, but never a commercial success.
Maybe someone (not me) could use it as a sidecar and create a hybrid motorcycle ?
