The stock spring was too weak for my weight, so a new one was installed today.
Now I can set the sag correctly, but it is winter in Denmark now, so I can not test the new setup before March ….
Prevents the gear shifter shaft from bending during gear shifts – and makes gear shifts more precise.
Still my favorite method to make the seat comfortable for long rides.
Was not easy to do on the Tenere 700.
There was no easy or obvious place to mount the camera, så I had to make a set of brackets.
Installed on the Tenere 700.
Easy way to store the lock and to ensure that you have it on the bike every day and on every ride (it is not much useful to have the lock lying home in the garage …)
And if you are in doubt if you remembered to remove it from the front wheel, it is in plain sight when you sit on the bike.
Most of us have the bikes insured from March 1, even though it is usually middle March before the weather is reasonable for motorcycle riding.
This year, I decided to start riding as soon ad possible, so I started the Yamaha at midnight (excactly at midnight), and the bike was rolling within 15 seconds 🙂
Temperature was around 0 degrees C, so I only tool the Tenere for a short ride. But it was great to get out on the bike again 🙂
Now I can switch between on-road and off-road tyres in 30 minutes 🙂
Including Excel rims with safety hump for tubeless tires, stainless spokes, and 4 year warranty.
